Drawing from Delphi reactivates Dodona through the transposition of spatial, symbolic, and phenomenological dialectics drawn from Delphi. Central is the rearticulation of Delphi’s episodic pathway, ritual density, and stratified temporality, applied as architectural principles of sequencing, perceptual layering, and temporal accumulation.
In lieu of static preservation, the interventions compose a peripatetic dialogue between Dodona’s archaeological ruination and the cyclical transhumance of Vlach pastoralists, whose seasonal migrations, ad-hoc architectures, and oral tradition constitute an alternative heritage model. Hydro-social assemblages mediate this polyphonic landscape, enabling ritual continuity, socio-cultural resilience, and ecological reciprocity. Dodona is reframed not as inert dilapidation, but as an inhabited cultural palimpsest, where spatial syntax, material accretion, and mnemonic performance converge to sustain dynamic processes of cultural memory and collective inhabitation.
The vignettes critically reconstruct Delphi’s stratified spatial order, where ritual procession, material palimpsest, and semiotic logics co-produce an evolving architecture of temporal thickness and participatory meaning.

Encircling the theatre, Ex-votos, and Vlach semiotic sediment intersect ritual strata. Drawing reconstructs these palimpsestic accumulations, votive economies, and ceremonial movements. Transhumant memory shapes spatial vestiges.
Interventions inscribe themselves into this stratified topography. A ruin-in-formation, where scaffolded structures, flora and fauna, and fragmented spolia co-produce layered ritual accretion, spatial negotiation, and temporal indeterminacy.
The assemblage articulates Phoebe Giannisi’s chimeric poetics, its translation, and Epirus’s monophonic and polyphonic modalities. A hybridised score, where linguistic, acoustic, and spatial strata co-produce complex and contradictory resonances.
