RESTRICTED NAVIGATION

My project repurposes the negative connotations of discomfort into an aid. Consciously mimicking the topography of the site. Through extensions the wearable structure accentuates the sense of touch and questions the potential expansion of our senses. Creating direct contact between the body and the surrounding restrictions. Imposing the site onto the human body, allowing the user to navigate the site in a deeper perspective of the surrounding environment

Dressing in the metal helmet as a part of the performance - The extension is carefully adjusted and designed for the navigation of the tunnel as I walk slowly through.
